We collect and rework discarded packaging and plastic bags into one-of-a-kind bags, each retaining the colors, textures and surface qualities of the original materials.
From Packaging to a New Use
Our production process brings together different types of discarded packaging and plastic bags to create durable surfaces, which we then reshape into functional bags. Rather than concealing the original material, we retain its existing colors, graphics and textures as an integral part of the design.
Because every collected material has different visual and physical characteristics, no two bags are exactly alike. Material selection and composition take shape throughout the production process, giving each finished piece its own surface arrangement and distinct character.
Through this project, we bring discarded packaging back into production and transform it into functional products for everyday use. Working with different packaging materials allows us to develop new production methods, forms and applications in response to the specific properties of each material.
