Stop Motion with Waste Materials

The stop motion workshop directed by UÄŸur SavaÅŸ was based on the idea of telling a story with waste materials. Within the scope of the project, together with the participants, we collected waste materials from the neighbourhood and turned them into a scenario.

After the collected waste was disinfected, the materials and stories brought by the participants were included in the project. In this process, a poem was selected from the poetry book of GüneÅŸ, one of the participants, and this poem formed the main theme of the film.

While creating the script, brainstorming was done on how each waste material could contribute to the story. The materials obtained from waste became characters or decor elements in the film. GüneÅŸ's poem deepened this story and added an emotional dimension to the film.

The resulting film showed that waste is not just rubbish, but can be transformed into meaningful stories with the right perspective. This process both developed creative thinking skills and raised awareness about the reuse of waste in our environment.
